Currently, youth are inclined towards IT jobs: CM

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with Union Minister Rajnath Singh, participated in the 'Vigyan Vaibhav' exhibition organized by DRDO at the Gachibowli Stadium. During the event, the CM stated that the responsibility for the country's defense lies with the youth. He emphasized that Telangana plays a crucial role in the country's defense. The Chief Minister mentioned that over a lakh engineering graduates from Telangana, especially those studying Computer Science, go to the United States every year. He added that this scientific exhibition was organized to instill a sense of patriotism and highlight the importance of national defense among the youth.

The CM mentioned that not only are IT professionals from Telangana going to the United States, but efforts are also being made to provide efficient engineers for the defense sector. He pointed out that key defense organizations like BDL, HAL, and MIDHANI are located around Hyderabad. He expressed that this scientific exhibition would help students and youth develop an awareness of national defense. He further emphasized the importance of training engineers necessary for the country's defense sector.

The CM noted that currently, youth are more inclined toward IT jobs and suggested that students should also be made aware of traditional engineering fields. He reiterated that every year, over a lakh engineering graduates from Telangana, particularly in Computer Science, go to the United States. This exhibition, he explained, aims to foster patriotism and promote the importance of national defense among them.
