Why Modular Ultra stands out

Modular Ultra is exclusive to the Apple Watch Ultra line, and it has become one of the most flexible faces in watchOS. It was introduced alongside the first Apple Watch Ultra and was designed to pack as much data onto the display as possible. The face combines a large digital time readout with an outer bezel area that can show supplemental data, plus a grid of complications. It can be overwhelming, but that versatility is exactly what makes it so interesting.

The classic Modular face has been around for years, but the Ultra version brings a bigger canvas, a more prominent clock, and a bezel ring that opens up entirely new use cases. That extra space is both a blessing and a challenge. On one hand, you can turn your watch into a full dashboard. On the other, too many complications can make a glanceable device feel cluttered.
